My top priorities include being a culturally and linguistically competent SLP, tailoring my therapy to my client’s communicative and sensory needs, and honoring all modes of communication while providing a safe space for all individuals. I believe it is essential to consider the diverse populations that come with working in the field of speech-language pathology to understand how we can improve our clinical skills. I obtain experience in treating individuals with neurodevelopmental differences and disabilities in private and public school settings, in expressive/receptive language, articulation, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, phonemic awareness, Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, literacy, fluency, Augmentative and Alternative Communication and neurodegenerative disorders. I love to apply the DIR/Floortime approach when working with my clients because it allows me to follow their lead and create a foundation for natural growth and development. I also love building strong relationships with my clients and their families as well as collaborating in an interdisciplinary team with various professionals to provide the utmost care. I am always looking to further my education to become the best clinician I can be. Being the dedicated and passionate clinician I am, I feel so lucky to work at such a special place like SensationALL Kids to fulfill my dream. I am looking forward to continuing to grow and learn throughout my career.
